The Buddha did not endorse a belief in any creator god and thought that any questions as to who caused creation or how it came to be as worthless. In general, Buddhists do not believe in any immortal, all powerful deities. We do believe that some people, upon their passing, can attain a finite existence in what is sometimes called a God Realm (Actually called a Deva Realm) as a Deva. Devas have abilities that far outreach the normal person (almost god-like) but these beings are not immortal, all-powerful or all-knowing.

The Buddha held that it was not necessary to believe in gods in order to achieve enlightenment, but that his followers could believe in gods if they so wished. A great majority of Buddhists do believe in a creator god, whether the Abrahamic God, or another. It is certainly acceptable within some schools of Buddhism for their followers to believe in God, as the world's creator. ~That's correct. :-) I am a Buddhist, but I still believe in, love, and accept in my heart God. ^_^
If you are thinking in the Abrahamic religion's terms of a revelation from a god, we Buddhists don't, since we don't believe in any creator god or infinite lived gods. We get insights into the workings of our minds through meditation and reading the teachings of the Buddha and then contemplating them.
Buddhists do not regard the Buddha as a god. He is seen as a wise man who thought his way through the question of human suffering to determine its cause and cure. He is revered for this, Buddha himself said there were no gods to worship or pay homage to. Each person is responsible for discovering their one path to enlightenment.
