Well of course chiggers die, as every living thing does. On your skin (and don't listen to the others who tell you otherwise) you can put clear nailpolish on your skin, which suffocates them. Or, just put rubbing alcohol on them every so often. It works, OK? I have had plenty of chiggers in my life! And I'm perfectly healthy! This tactic works great, and you won't develop any health concerns. Believe me, I've had hundreds of chiggers.
