Male Chinese dwarf hamsters can be mixed with others but if they begin to get aggressive with each other, separate them asap! female Chinese dwarf hamsters do not often like each other. it is best not to mix them as they will probebley end up killing each other. DO NOT MIX DIFFERNT BREEDS OF HAMSTERS eg. a syrain hamster with a Russian dwarf hamster. if you have just put the hamsters in one cage, keep an eye on them.
Male Chinese dwarf hamsters can be mixed with male Chinese dwarf hamsters. Female Chinese dwarf hamsters are often not friendly to other Chinese dwarf hamsters.
DO NOT MIX HAMSTERS OF DIFFERENT BREEDS, it could result in the death of one hamster
Well Robo Hamsters will do a little nibble on your finger to find if the surface on your hand is sturdy. So what I am trying to say is they don't bite they only nibble on your finger when you pick them up or put your hand flat on the ground in their cage.
Hamsters aren't poisonous they just bite because they get scared easily in the wild they are prey animals which mean that they get eaten by other animals. So your Chinese dwarf hamster probably bit you because it was trying to protect itself. You could just put a band-aid on it or just wash it and leave it like that. Hope this helps! =)
Yes some nip, so you can hardly feel a thing. But others chomp down and even make you bleed.
I don't think so. The mice would obviously know that they are not one of their species.
I have been bitten by many hamsters, and if you do get bitten by a dwarf hamster, it will feel like a pinch. However, if you get bitten by a syrian hamster you might bleed a bit.
Yes, they can.
There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!
many kinds of hamsters are: Russian Albino( Albino hamsters can be any breed) Dwarf Robo But if you do some reasearch, you could find soooooooo many more breeds.
At least 4.( I have an albino female dwarf named Val Cherry Hamsterz ( I gave all my hammies the same last name)).
Robo hamsters very rarely bite, although they are very difficult to catch and hold. They will jump out of your hands from any height and will run and hide to avoid being caught. Despite their skittish nature, they are not generally aggressive. I have never even been nipped by my robo.
There are Syrian Hamsters (the most common type), Dwarf Russian Campbells Hamsters, Dwarf Russian Winter White Hamsters, Dwarf Roborovski Hamsters, and Dwarf Chinese Hamsters.
