Most sizes out there today that I have seen are the 52". They do have a 61" but I don't see that too often. The best seller is the 52" rca projection hdtv.

I honestly can't find any benefits. Projection Tv's are hard to find and expensive, while regular HDTv's have come way down in price. A good quality, decent-sized HDTv is less than $1,000. Projection Tv's are large and bulky. HDTv's are thin and sleek.
Plasma televisions come in much larger sizes than a HDTV television. They also have better contrast. Plasma screens are four to five times brighter. Plasma screens take up less space because they can be hung on a wall like a picture.
Picture Tube, Plasma, Liquid Crystal Display, Rear-Projection, Digital Light Projection, Liquid Crystal on Silicon and Front-Projection are the types of Current HDTV. The Front-Projection type is the most common and well-received.
One may purchase HDTV stands at almost any furniture store, general purpose retailer and some electronics shops. Stores such as Leon's furniture stores will have stands that fit a variety of HDTV sizes.
Any major electornics store is going to sell projection screens. Some you might want to try are bestbuy.com, walmart.com, amazon.com, meijer.com, target.com, or newegg.com. These all offer extensive TV selection, but Amazon offers the most by far.

Any current HDTV will have an aspect ratio of 16:9. Only older CRT or rear-projection TV's will have the old 4:3 format.

Sanyo has a number of screen sizes for their LCD tvs. Sanyo LCD's range in size from their compact 18" HDTV to their 55" HDTV. Of course, the size of your room should determine the size of the TV you get. You don't want the TV to overpower the room.
