Yes of course, as with any religion the individual would simply stop going to their services.

Since Jehovah's Witnesses are a close community their absense will probably be noted and they will be encouraged not to stop by friends and family but if they expressed a firm desire to discontinue their ministry there is no Jehovah's Witness police monitoring or enforcement system that can force individuals to go to their kingdom halls.

If a Jehovah's witness, after accepting the truth in The Bible and symbolizing it by being baptized, STILL does the ff acts, he will have a high possibility of being disfellowshipped.

This is an excerpt of the article, "Living in a way that Pleases God" that you can read on from the link I added below.

SHUN WHAT JEHOVAH HATES
  • Manslaughter.-Exodus 20:13; 21:22, 23.
  • Sexual immorality.-Leviticus 20:10, 13, 15, 16;Romans 1:24, 26, 27, 32; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10.
  • Spiritism.-Deuteronomy 18:9-13; 1 Corinthians 10:21, 22; Galatians 5:20, 21.
  • Idolatry.-1 Corinthians 10:14.
  • Drunkenness.-1 Corinthians 5:11.
  • Stealing.-Leviticus 6:2, 4; Ephesians 4:28.
  • Lying.-Proverbs 6:16, 19; Colossians 3:9; Revelation 22:15.
  • Greed.-1 Corinthians 5:11.
  • Violence.-Psalm 11:5; Proverbs 22:24, 25; Malachi 2:16; Galatians 5:20.
  • Improper speech.-Leviticus 19:16; Ephesians 5:4;Colossians 3:8.
  • Misuse of blood.-Genesis 9:4; Acts 15:20, 28, 29.
  • Refusal to provide for one's family.-1 Timothy 5:8.
  • Participation in wars or political controversies of this world.-Isaiah 2:4; John 6:15; 17:16.
  • Use of tobacco or so-called recreational drugs.-Mark 15:23; 2 Corinthians 7:1.

Some people get disfellowshipped.

Others disassociate themselves.

Others stop attending meetings.

Disfellowshipping is when a judicial committee of elders decide that one is not repentant and then formally announce that that one is no longer a Jehovah's Witness.

Disassociating is when the person formally informs the elders that they no longer want to be a Jehovah's Witness and the elders make the same announcement to the congregation as if he were disfellowshipped.

Stopping attending meetings is self explanatory but involves no announcement made that the person is no longer a JW.

Yes, some members do leave the religion or disassociate themselves although it is rare. There are many that become "inactive" or not involved in the religion anymore, but have not made any effort to formally disassociate themselves. There are also those who are removed from the congregation for unrepentant or repeated wrongdoings.

How many Jehovahs Witnesses are there using WikiAnswers?

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and I know of at least two more, however, that is an ever changing number given the fluidity of this site and it's members. Last year at this same time, it seemed that there were more than there are now.

Do jehovahs witnesses allow falatio?

There is nothing in the Bible that states there is anything wrong with it nor has it ever been discussed at our meetings or in our teachings. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and my wife and I give and receive plenty of it. It's is a personal preference and anyone that is telling you that "we" don't do it is speaking for themselves.

Did jehovahs witnesses ever claim to be prophets?

A Prophecy is a Divine prediction. A Prophet is one who announces the prophecy. Announcing the end is coming and going door to door in hopes of saving many, fits the criteria of being prophets. Though, no Witness has any sper natural powers given to them by god. Witnesses beleive they act with god's spirit as a power.
