Do Jehovah's Witnesses have parties

Just because they do not celebrate Christmas and birthdays, etc. It doesn't mean they don't have parties. I have relatives who are Jehovah's Witnesses and they do have parties as i have been to them. People also believe that they don't play party games because people play them at birthdays, they do! They play many traditional party games like, Pass the Parcel and Charades! Just because they do not celebrate what we DO, doesn't mean they don't have fun!

Actualy yes we do have parties. apperently i am one of jehovahs witnesess and we have all sorts of parties, but not birthday parties or Halloween parties or Christmas parties or Easter partie or any of the other parties. and if you are thinking that we don't have fun because we are serving Jehovah all the time then ur rong, we have lots of fun!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :D

Yes, we love parties!

We love it when we can sing, dance, eat and drink with fellow believers.

We make every effort to ensure the crowd is not too big, that the ones present have been invited, that the event is under good supervision (especially if alcohol is served), and that the gathering is upbuilding and refreshingly fun.

JWs do not smoke, take recreational drugs or get drunk. They are very knowledgeable about how to behave scripturally, in accordance with Jesus' ways when he went to social gatherings, such as the wedding in Cana (where he changed water into wine for the enjoyment at the event). So, this all makes it more likely the party will go well.

JWs have wedding receptions, wedding anniversary celebrations, get-togethers and parties at any and all times of the year, and do not wait for any particular traditional date for having wholesome fun.
