Jehovah's Witnesses can not celebrate the 4th of July because they only celebrate weddings, anniversaries, and religiously-bound holidays (ex.- Christmas). The Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate Christmas. The only holidays they celebrate are what we non-JWs call the Lord's Supper. Jehovah's Witnesses view themselves as "no part of the world", as Jesus did when he was on the earth. (John 17:14) While they are citizens of current governments, and loyally obey the laws of the land when they do not conflict with God's Word the Bible, they do not believe that our salvation will come at the hands of governments of men. Therefore, why celebrate a tradition who's purpose is to promote a government instituted by men? What is more, the 4th of July celebration itself is a tradition celebrating America's "liberation". Each person must decide for themselves what is truthful. So, while it is truthful to one of Jehovah's Witnesses, it would not be truthful to a person practicing a different faith, because that person would think what he/she believes is truthful. To determine whether or not a person would find out if Jehovah's Witnesses are truthful, one would have to first decide if belief in God is truthful, then would have to be convinced the Bible is the word of God, and then would have to examine the Bible to see if what Jehovah's Witnesses teach is from the Bible. People who have taken those steps have either agreed or disagreed with the interpretation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Why jehovahs witness not to participate scouting?

I will not bring upon u a long speech. lol. I will let you in on what many do not know. The Jews weren't the only ones who suffered under Hilter's harsh hand. But the Bible Students A.K.A Jehovah Witnesses. Many years after they adopted the JW name. During the concentration camps they wore a purple triangle on their clothing while the Jews bore the yellow star. They were thrown in the pit for two reasons alone, they didn't want to fight in the militia and they wouldn't stop preaching the word of God. Now that I let you in on something, do your research, it wouldn't be fair if I made it all easy. ;-)
Can Jehovah witness perform wedding of non Jehovah witness?
No they can't. Unless one of the couple is studying with the Jehovah's Witness and is with a spouse while not married. If the person is truly sure of baptizing as a Jehovah's Witness then the only way to do it is by the person getting married to be able to get baptized as a now Jehovah's Witness and not sin in Jehovah God's eyes.

This information is completely false. Jehovah's Witnesses have always maintened strict neutrality and it's literature has consistently refrained from taking sides in any politial or military matters.
