If that is what the family of the patient wants. It is up to the family to decide what to do in this situation. In cases that I have known of, family members have gone to the temple to pray and receive an answer as to what they should do.

No, The Bible tells us at Ecclesiastes 9:5 "The living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all." Also at Psalms 146:4 "His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground in that day his thoughts do perish." In the bible book of John Lazarus was spoken of as being asleep when he had died. That was in John 11:11-14.
So nowhere in the Bible doese it talk about life after death but it tells us that the dead are not conscious of anything they are like in a deep sleep. They can not see or hear or move or talk and that no part of us lives on. So Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in life after death.
We do believe that Jehovah through his son Jesus will one day bring this earth back to his original purpose of a paradise, when he will also bring back all those who have died to life in that new paradise earth. Acts 24:15 tells us that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Note:If a person is one of the 'anointed' and they die before Armageddon they are instantly resurrected to heaven. 'You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth page 173 para 22 says, ''They are the remaining ones, a remnant of the 144,000. When are they resurrected? They do not need to sleep in death, but they are raised immediately when they die.''
For those who have died before Armageddon and have not sinned against the holy spirit a resurrection awaits them.
With the exception of the use of blood, all forms of medical treatment are acceptable to Jehovah's Witnesses. When it comes to life support, a number of factors may affect the decision as to whether or not the person or their family will accept it, but this is a matter for them personally to decide.
As far as our religious and Scriptural beliefs go though, we have no objection to it.
It would depend on the individual and their wishes and the circumstances.
Jehovah's Witnesses regularly seek medical attention for their health related issues.
If one of Jehovah's Witnesses was drowning and need resuscitating, absolutely there are no restrictions on this.
However, an instance may occur where an individual may wish not to be resuscitated. If one was terminally ill, they would have the right to make the decision for a DNR order.
If you mean resuscitation, yes.
I would say his life style doesnt appear to fit the life of a Jehovah's Witness. But then the internet only shows so much. There is no evidence to support or refute the suggestion that he may or may not be one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
We don't engage in relic worship or honor the murder weapon that took Jesus life. He wasn't executed on a cross either, but on a stake.
Your boyfriend has to show genuine interest in becoming a Jehovah's Witness. It has to come out of his heart to want to serve God for the rest of his life.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe all life exists as the direct result of being created by God. (Read Genesis chapters 1 & 2, and Revelation 4:11.)
There are billions of Jehovahs witnesses around the world you will find us everywhere in every country you could name, Afghanistan, China, US, Russia, Germany, Japan, Puerto Rico, Great Britian, Mexico, Affrica, anywhere that theres life.
I presume you are asking what are the values of Jehovah's Witnesses. Values are definided as: "standards, or qualities that are considered useful worthwhile or desirable", as christians Jehovah's Witnesses value their relationship with their Creator above all things. This is reflected their desire to respect His commandement thus they both value and obey the bible adhering to its standards regarding honesty and morality. Since they believe God to be the source of all life, they also value life and refrain from endangering their own lives with reckless sports or extreme activities or from taking the lives of others.
Not sure about specific cultures, but Jehovah's Witnesses don't follow the belief that life continues after death.
Yes. According to the Official Jehovah's Witness Media site, under "Doctrinal Beliefs=>The Bible, God, and Jesus" Jehovah's Witnesses believe[quote]:Jesus is the Son of God. He came to earth from heaven and gave his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice. [...] Jesus never claimed equality with God and thus is not part of a Trinity.-John 3:16; 14:28; Revelation 11:15.[end quote]Yes, the believe in Jesus Christ.
They don't. The death of a loved one is always a painful experience, Jehovah's Witnesses, like anyone are totally devestated when a loved on is murdered. Unfortunately they recognise violent crimes as a part of life so they look to God for comfort.
For me, I believe it has helped me excercise extra care for my health. It has been a protection. Because of my religion, I do not use tobacco or illicite drugs. I do not over drink or over eat. These are all beneficial to good health. My religion teaches me that my life is a gift from God that I do not have the right to abuse. Therefore, I don't even engage in dangerous sports such as mountain climbing and sky diving.
No. They did not believe in a resurrection, and Jesus is the resurrection and the life, (John 11.25)
Right-wing advocates believe that life support is not playing God because it is an extension of life. Some believe that as long as a person is breathing, whether it is on their own or not, there is a chance for recovery. This is not the case in all situations.
