Some Jews believe this, and some do not

Some Jews are deists.

Another Answer:Judaism is monotheistic, theism conceives of God as personal present and active in the governance and organization of the world and the universe. Belief in an uninvolved deity would be a deist view.

Judaism, as understood and practiced by its Sages for the last 3,000 years and as understood and practiced by many today, is monotheistic. All the offshoot religions and modern Jewish movements, with very few exceptions, are also monotheistic. Even the theology of these few exception are not completely non-theist.

That said Jews, individuals or groups of Jews, Believe all kinds of things. One is Jewish because of his ancestry, or due to a conversion, not because of his belief's.
