No. This site is "Controlled" by the several million users, and about 7,000 of us that are volunteer supervisors. The site is also not controlled by the Elders of Zion, the IMF, the Trilateral commission, the Bildabergers, or the Illumnati. The Justin Bieber fans may stage a revolution some day, but not really likely.

How is this site not run by Mormons and yet have an obscure subcategory entitled Mormon trail making them liars when they say they don't run this site?

Just because there is a subcategory entitled "Mormon Trail" doesn't prove that this site is run by Mormons. This site has thousands of contributors and Supervisors from all over the world, and of various religions. Categories are created by people noticing that many questions have been asked about that topic. Because there are many questions in that fit under that category, the category is thus created.
