Tell that to the 14 million people who's lives have been changed for the better by becoming members of the Mormon faith. Tell that to the victims of many natural disasters who have received help, food, clothing, and money from the Mormon church.

The Mormon faith is filled with sincere, God loving people who love the Lord Jesus Christ, and try to be obedient to His commandments. They are good neighbors, workers, and friends to those who are even not of their faith. They know that judgment is God's, not theirs to inflict.

You could learn a lot from learning about the Mormons from the source, and not the slanderous opinions of the uninformed. We all need to remove the beam in our own eye before we criticize the mote we see in others. In other words, before you judge others, make sure your life is in harmony with the teachings of Christ.

What is an electronic darkness detector?

The polar opposite of a light detector. They are in fact the same thing, but one makes a circuit when light is detected, while the other makes a circuit when light is not detected. Security cameras will use a light detector to switch between night vision mode to normal mode. Light security systems also employ darkness detectors.

Why are Mormons weird?

Most Mormons (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) are relatively normal! Some may regard them as 'weird' because they tend to be very morally conservative and adhere to Biblical values. While this may be uncommon in today's society, it is hardly unusual among religious people. You can get to know real Mormons online at Mormon.org/people.

Are Mormons completely insane?

Nope. Some members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) are pretty wierd, anf some are mentally insane, but most of them are just normal people. Check out the "related link" below to see profiles of typical Mormons.

What is pir?

A PIR normally refers to a passive infra-red detector. These are the detectors typically used in security systems to detect movement of people. They are normally found with a small translucent window in the front of the detector. The detector works by measuring the infra-red radiation (heat) from the field of view in front of the translucent lens. When the radiation levels change or a heat source moves, the output of the detector is triggered. Normal security use will detect a person moving in the field of view but they can be far more sensitive and detect movements of far smaller animals.

Are Mormons normal?

I guess that depends on what you think is "normal". For the most part, I'd say yes, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) are just regular people. They wouldn't stand out in a crowd, in fact you probably see Mormons every time you go out and just don't know it. Most Mormons do the same things everyone else around them does - they wear the same clothes, watch the same TV shows and movies, listen to the same music, go to the same schools, work the same jobs, use the same social media and technology, enjoy the same hobbies, shop at the same stores, live in regular homes in regular neighborhoods, etc. Of course there are always a few "weird" people in any group, and some Mormons just don't fit in, but most of them are just like you. There are a few things that many Mormons do or believe that may seem unusual or out of the ordinary, but are common among many people of faith. For example Mormons want to show respect for the body God created for them, so they avoid alcohol, smoking, and drugs. Many Mormons also avoid coffee and tea. Mormons tend to dress more modestly or conservatively, so you'd probably see fewer tank tops, bikinis, and purple mohawks in a group of Mormons. Mormons put high value on chastity and virtue, so they are less likely to be in serious relationships as teenagers or to have premarital sex. Mormons also tend to marry earlier, have more children, spend more time at church and be more involved in community service than the "average" person. If you want to see for yourself what Mormons are like, I'd suggest checking out Mormon.org/people to see profiles of real Mormons. You can also learn about Mormon's religious beliefs at discover.mormon.org.

How long does a blue Mormon live?

As a Mormon I have never heard of the term Blue Mormon. As to how long Mormons live, they live as long as is normal as for any non Mormons, unless the Lord calls them back for some special reason. This question was misplaced... the Blue Mormon is a type of butterfly. But I'm not sure of the lifespan.

Are Mormons mentally imbalanced?

No not at all they are just normal people that believe in that faith ----- Certainly not all members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) have mental issues. Mormons are just regular people who happen to share a religious belief. The number of Mormons having mental disorders is an equal ratio to those in the general population, about 5 in every 100 people having a serious mental disorder.
