Do Muslim women who wear the veil have any intention of working in normal society?

Muslim women who wear the veil do not have any intention of working or contributing to their community and society. I believe there is no employer, who is willing to give them a job, when they can not even see their faces, to communicate in a normal manner. These women have completely excluded themselves from normal working society.

• It is not an Islam religion requirement for Muslim women to cover their faces with a veil and to cover their hands with gloves. Accordingly, Islam religion neither forbids nor commands wearing veil. The Islam religion requirement is to cover head, hair, and neck and not required to cover face or hands. Women are allowed to wear clothing of any material, any color, any fashion as long as not tight to describe woman body and not transparent to show what underneath.
• wearing veil is per cultures and traditions of some countries (not per Islam religion), accordingly women wearing veils in those countries may be able to find work according to the rules of these countries.

This is my point of view for the above hints.I understand that some of these women, who wear the veil may be able to work in an Islamic countries, but it may prove quite difficult to gain any employment, in countries such as England or USA. Therefore unable to contribute to there community and society, because communication will be quite difficult, when you can not see some one's facial expressions, which is normal part of communication between people to people.

I fully agree that for women wearing veil it is very difficult to work in a non Muslim countries and even in some Muslim countries.

I live in South East of London, and have notice an increase in numbers of young and old women, who have began to wear the veil, in the past 2 years. To my understanding these women are born and educated in this country. what I don't understand, why would most of these women give up ambition, to become doctors, nurses, teachers, social workers, an important member of there community, just to hide away under the veil in the name of Islam. I myself was born and educated in this county and have always worked, since I have finished my full time education. I couldn't imagine living like these women, who have no desire to work or to be an important member of there society. I don't think I will ever understand.

If a woman has no desire to work, it doesn't mean that someone forced her to give up her ambition. Islam gave her right to work. Woman wearing veil is able to work in her country. I don't think that in non Muslim country a woman will prefer to wear veil (because it is per cultures). And it is misconception that women wear veil in the name of Islam.

I live in the England, which is a non Muslim country, and I encounter Muslim women in veils every day, so to say that these women only wear or prefer to wear a veil in a Muslim country, is not true. I do understand that most of these women are not force to wear the veil, but that does not change the fact these women have chosen to live like this, which in my opinion, have given up all desire to work. You stated that it is a misconception that women wear a veil in the name of Islam , but when I spoke to some of these women, nearly all of them said, they do it in the name and love of Islam, it is not a cultural thing to them. So these women are giving up all their desires and ambitions in the name of Islam. I know this is going to sound a bit nasty, but is it easy to wear a veil in England and not work, as these women can claim income support from the government , while all the tax payers, work for their living, like me.

The attention of the Islamic society is to exclude women from aspect of society including working and employment, the veil is only one part of that intention.
