Yes assuming the animal is slughtered the Islamic way "Halal", However you must also remember that your health is more important, hence the dangers of eating raw meat may not be allowed if it will impact your health.
Take for example smoking. The Quran does not mention anything about smoking cigs, however we know that cigs are very harmfull to your body, which makes it border line haram.
