in Islam there are 5 pillars from which one of them are to go hajj once in a lifetime
all Muslims should go to hajj if they can afford the expenses and if not they do not have to but it is 1 of the 5 pillars so it is very important to go.
hope this was help full.
^very true^
but also if the Muslim is ill dying or to poor to go on hajj to mecca, they can send another Muslim in their place. (it still counts)
A Pilgrimage !
a mirab is where the Muslims face when they pray (mekkah)
about 500 km
because that it is where the ka'aba is which is "allah's house" or the stone sent from god
Mekkah (located in Saudi Arabia) is a holy city of Islam. In the Islam faith, there are 5 pillars, much like the 10 commandments of Christianity. One of these pillars is to make a pilgrimage to Mekkah. There is a Mosque in Mekkah that Muslims journey to. It is also the place that they are to pray to.
This has many purposes, 1. For worship 2. It will change them into better Muslims 3. To be closer to Allah
When a Muslim goes to Mecca they are meant to be outdoors at all times. So many Muslims will go on a open top bus or sitting on top of a van (converted vans for mecca travel are common). if anymore help is needed go to BBC Religion
The town of Mekkah or Makkah is called English Mecca.
For pray if they have power (mean) if can aford Muslim belive when they go to mekkah god will for give them (sin)
because it is a great place to visit you can go to mekkah and madinah it is wonderful, there isn't it?
