Air restrictors are the three pronged pieces that have springs behind them pushing it against the dart supports. They are there only to limit the length the darts can be shot, all air (not spring) powered (Nerf) guns have them.

∙ 12y agoOk the air restrictor is inside your Nerf gun, if your taking apart one of the Nerf pistols (any kind) you will find a tube by where you cock the gun, there will be a spring inside with a orange thingy, that is the air restrictor, if you take it out the air will go through the gun faster and make it shoot more powerfully and longer, you can also take out the pole that the dart usually slides down on to increase power and distance.

∙ 13y agoif it is clip system u should unscrew it then you find the "breech" and get the correct size drill bit and drill it out. for pistols it is easier allyou do is get pliers and yank it out
