Olympus camera batteries last on average the same as other battery brands. To extend the charge life of your camera battery be sure to not use the LCD panel since it drains the battery.
An Olympus Camedia zoom camera requires AA battery's to operate. Regular AA batteries will last depending on how often you use it. So there is no definite answer to your question. But I can tell you that they don't last long. So I recommend getting rechargeable batteries to save money on them, otherwise the camera will drain the battery's quickly.
The Olympus camera is great. They are high quality, and for the price you pay, you get a long lasting state-of-the-art camera. Olympus sells a large variety of camera types which can help you find the camera that fits you best.
Yes. As long as the batteries are the right type and they do not show any signs of wear, they are safe to use in your camera.
The Canon Powershot battery life has been rated as long lasting and very good. It would also depend on what brand of batteries you use.
Batteries Plus offers a wide selection of long lasting, quality batteries for your Samsung laptop, camcorder, cell phone, digital camera, film camera, cordless phone, small electronics devices, and much more.
There are a wide variety of batteries available to the consumer but Duracell has been proven to be one the most popular brands. These batteries perform well and last a long time. Their rechargeable batteries hold a charge for a long time which is a desirable feature in rechargeable batteries.
No, but they will not last as long, and because of this, in most cases it's actually "cheaper" to buy reliable brands of batteries.
Like in other batteries the battery life depends on how the camera is being used. It depends on how long you leave it open (working) if you just take photos or also videos, etc. Batteries yield approximately 300-500 pictures per charge.
A set of NiMH AAA batteries can last roughly a month on a full charge if they are not being used at all and are simply allowed to sit around. In devices such as cameras and small pda's where rechargeable batteries are best used, the batteries can last nearly as long as normal alkaline batteries on a full charge. Exact times depend on the capacities of the NiMH batteries. A charge lasts long enough for a camera to be used normally for several days and hundreds of shots. As long as the NiMH batteries are not allowed to be idle and self-discharge, the life of a single charge is almost as long as a full alkaline battery. The life of the battery itself can easily be several years. NiMH batteries don't need much maintaining and can last for hundreds of charge cycles.
It is better to get rechargeable batteries. This way, you will be able to recharge them and save money in the long run if you use your camera often.
Try replacing the batteries and it should be ok. I don't have an Olympus (mine is a Canon) and I had the same problem, but when I put in newly-recharged batteries it was ok again. Be aware that NiMH [Nickel Magnesium Hydride] batteries have a high self-discharge rate: a newly-recharged battery loses at least 1% or 2 % of its charge per day just lying around and not even in your camera or connected to anything at all. You can put new NiMH batteries in your camera, not use it for a month, and it will be flat when you go to use it. If you know you are not going to use your camera for a while, take the batteries out and put them in the butter-compartment in the fridge, because the lower the temperature the less the discharge-rate: you will notice the difference. For a long-term and more-permanent solution, get some "Eneloop"-brand AA Batteries as they have a very-low self-discharge rate: so much so, that they are sold in plastic packs ready to use and even then they still have 70% charge.
NiMh runtime is about reported to be around two hours.
