US televisions have some significant differences to UK models. There are ways to overcome the differences but they are not always easy and tend to be expensive.
First, North America uses 110V and Europe uses 230V electrical supplies. Most US televisions will not e able to handle the higher voltage. A transformer can be used to deliver 110V to the television but they are expensive, in the region of £60 / $100
Next, tuners for cable and terrestrial broadcasts are not compatible so the US television will need a separate tuner or satellite receiver. Cost is up to £50 - $80
Finally North America uses NTSC color encoding with a frame rate of 60Hz. Europe uses PAL at 50Hz. Some US televisions can handle the European standards but not all. There is normally no easy way to find out if a particular model will work with European signals. If it doesn't then a standards converter may be needed. Cost can be a few hundred dollars up to many thousands of dollars.
If you are making plans to take a US television to the UK, consider the cost of shipping, cost of Transformers, cost of additional tuners and standards converters and also the many hours that will be spent making the TV work. Also bear in mind that the average UK and US television store will not have experience with these issues so you will be working largely unaided as you persuade the television to operate.
NO
It might if you have a plug outlet for the type they have in the uk.
UK TV - Yes UK Games - No Result - You're gonna have to buy Wii games in Australia.
It will work if you can get a UK power adaptor for it, and if you have a NTSC compatible TV, but you will only will be able to play games from the US, not ones from the UK.
Im sorry to tell you that the U.S PS3 games will not work on UK PS3 console, and the reason for that is -The PS3 games are made with regions. The US PS3 games are made for region 1 and UK PS3 games are region 2... Therefore the region 1 ps3 console will only play region 1 ps3 games, just like region 2 ps3 console will only play region 2 ps3 games. Hope that makes any sense. If you have more questions just message me. The reason is not region coding, but it is the USA TV design system is different from the others and games made to work for the USA system do not all have the ability to be changed and be played on the UK and Europe TVs. The affect is the same as if they were region coded except that region coding fixes also will not work because it is the TVs that can not play the games and not the PS3
Yes it will.

Yes. You can get many American channels on satellite. There are also many American TV shows that are shown on TV channels in the UK.
A Dutch television uses the same video system and the same power supply as a UK model. The tuner may operate at different frequencies to the UK digital broadcast bands so it might need a separate Freeview receiver to receive terrestrial television. Sky or Virgin receivers will work without problems.
Yes no problem absolutely brilliant. Bloody gorgeous.
