Yes they managed to get some of the personnel information. The Government and Sony are not releasing any information in the Criminal matter concerning the hackers. see related question for many different links and information, except about security matters on the criminal intrusion
I dont believe it did it may have been maintenance but there was hackers i think in 2011
Nobody " destroyed " it.. A group of hackers named ' Anonymous ' hacked into PSN and took all their data.. PSN has updated everything and still has everything.. They are currently testing the new software...
Depends what error you have. Recently there has been a network outage, by hackers, so you probably have been not allowed on because of it.
hackers are out there and some data e.g. bank details can be stolen
No, if a game is included as part of a PSP bundle, it will come as a UMD. It's not really possible to distribute PSN games on a bundle like this because A) It will lack a memory stick, and B) PSN games are bought on a PSN account, and it won't have your details yet. But it might come with a voucher to redeem on the PSN for the game.
details were not given away they were stolen and it is a criminal matter that effects the world and All 77 Million PSN users including those in the UK. The releted question has information that was provided on the matter in it's related links and questions
You can't because of the troubles with the PSN. There are no details on when it will be released, but it should be by late June / early July.
The PSN (Product Safety Number) in a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is a unique identifier assigned to a specific chemical or product. It aids in the quick retrieval of safety information and ensures that users can access the correct safety data for handling, storage, and emergency procedures. The PSN is critical for regulatory compliance and helps in risk management by providing essential details about potential hazards and safe practices.
It means you need to log into your PSN account on both PC and PSP, then link the PSP to your account. Once you've done that, the PSP is authorised to use your PSN details - basically it stops people distributing PSN logins, only someone with access to the account on a PC can authorise the devices.
There are a few ways hackers get credit card details. The first is by hacking into a site that stores credit card information, thereby gaining access to the information. Another way is through fake emails and websites, where they engage in phishing for the information. The card details are then often not used by the thief but sold online in forums or other channels, a process known as "Dumping".
I have a friend who is in anonymous and truth be told - it wasn't anonymous that hacked PSN. It was another group of hackers, I can't remember who, but the reason they are doing it is because they don't believe that PSN was good enough and Sony wouldn't listen or make changes to it so they're doing this to get Sony to take action and improve it. I also know that none of the files we're encrypted apart from credit card details; but everything else, including people's address, email accounts and passwords were not encrypted. If your feeling left out because Microsoft's Xbox Live is always boasting of better service and trying to make PSN appear to be inferior or less adequate then don't be - Look at all the illegal copies of windows and other Microsoft products. I should also mention that they're going to hack Xbox Live too.
