The cast of Tungus s Henychara - 1930 includes: Kenebal Kima
Tungus refers to a group of indigenous peoples in Siberia, primarily in the Russian Far East, who speak Tungusic languages. The term is also associated with the Tunguska event, a mysterious explosion that occurred in 1908 in a remote area of Siberia, believed to be caused by the airburst of a meteoroid or comet. This event flattened an estimated 2,000 square kilometers of forest and remains a subject of scientific investigation and intrigue.
The origin of the word Shaman is from the Tungus people, who would be considered asian.

As near as I can see there is no true latin term as shaman and shamanism were not necessarily part of the roman experience we get the word from Tungus and the generalization of the practice/description is quite recent. Quit willing to be corrected and told there is an equivalant word.
The origin of the name "pika" is uncertain. Various species of pika are found around the world; it's thought that they were given that name by the Tungus people of Siberia and it was later applied to other members of the Ochotonidae family.
As Siberia is in Russia, Russian is the primary language of Siberia. However, there are also a number of indigenous ethnic minorities who speak their own languages, e.g. Tartar and Bashkir. These languages differ immensely from Russian. There are also a lot of immigrants from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in Siberia, so you will hear these languages being spoken too.People in Siberia speak Russian--Siberia is in Russia--and most likely some Mongolian or Chinese in the easternmost parts, since both of those countries border on the region.
