There is no Interstate Highway 1, at least not in the US.

If there were one, then it would be a north-south route, like all of the other odd-numbered

highways in the country are.

We can safely say, however, that it would NOT run "from north to south". Road building

projects are typically undertaken only when the design and funding exist to permit them

to be built to handle traffic in both directions.
