Honestly if a girl likes you then she should not hurt you. There might a reason though as maybe she is really upset about something that you did to her, for instance did you say something to hurt her feelings or maybe ignored her. These might be some reasons why she might be hurting you. Some persons are wired quite differently from others as for some girls they don't really know how to express their emotions to the opposite sex and as such they find weird ways of expressing themselves.
