Airliners follow the airway where there is:
1) The least traffic
2) The most favorable winds,
3) The least turbulence
4) The safest travel.
All of these are decided and directed by ground control.
The Boeing 777-300s as shared by US Airways/American Airlines have a rated altitude of 43,100-feet. American Airlines A330s have a service ceiling of 41,100-feet.
High Altitude Airways are generally for use above 18,000 (class A airspace) while Low Altitude Airways are used below 18,000. Since they are primarily for IFR use. The HHA (High) charts don't provide much terrain detail unlike sectionals. Their primary purpose is to show the airway info. Each Airway has a designation (like a highway number) and the charts will show the appropriate VOR radials and distances for the Airways.
High altitude
There is not enough oxygen in the air at altitudes above about 17,000 feet. In addition, as you ascend, the temperature decreases. The temperature in which jet airliners fly often is minus 40 degrees or lower.
the altitude is high, around 2194m.
Altitude Trekking is only used for high mountains like in Himalaya, India. Altitude basically represents the height from the sea level, as u go high, you will trek on more high altitude mountains.
If a person is on pacemaker how will high altitude affect him?
Airbus airliners use high bypass turbofan jet engines.
Because of high altitude sickness which is affected by climbing up high were there is high altitude. High altitude is were there is to much oxygen up high, if you breech in to much oxygen you could faint.
Above 100,000 feet altitude (20 miles).
High Altitude Warfare School was created in 1948-12.
The airplane was flying at a very high altitude.
