No, Z28s form 93-97 were LT1 350. 93-95 at 275 hp and 96-97 had 285 hp. actually the 93 models and the first couple of months of 94 were never detuned from the C4 vettes 300 hp, little known fact and almost nothing you read mentions it.

I had a 95 Impala SS with the lt1 350 and a friend with a Camaro lt1 and as I understand it the main difference was the Caprice 9c1/ Impala SS LT1 had more torque than the Camaro and Corvette versions since it was a heavier car and thus had a slight less horse power. on a side note when I raced a corvette with a LT1 we were head to head, the corvette was stock and my only modification was a cold air intake. hope this helps you
