Not unless someone put it in there. They didnt put the lt1 in the caprice until 94. Dont let anyone fool you either, the lt1 has a very distinctive look.
Yes, but the engines mounts are different and wiring. But it will work.
will a mid 80s 305v8 fit in a 1993 firebird that had a lt1 in it
Yes a lt1 will fit in a 1991, but i believe the motor mounts are a little different for the lt1. You cannot transplant it though without an PCM from an lt1, which needs a 4l60E transmission to control the transmission and engine codes. There are standalone kits available but they cost more than a PCM.
in 92 caprice did not come with lt1 only corvette had lt1 in 92
91c is the designation for the police spec caprice.it should in most cases already have an lt1,lt1 is the motor,91c is the car specs, but since its a 91 it may be too old for the lt1 option, so that part i dont know.i just know for sure 91c is not a motor.
The 1994 Chevy Caprice did not come with an LS1 style motor. It came with either a 4.3liter LT1 V8 or a 5.7liter LT1 V8. Tell me which motor you have and I'll get you the torque specs. I do know the horsepower rating for both engines off the top of my head. 200hp for the 4.3 and 260hp for the 5.7
no because the lt1 has a different transmission bellhousing
I believe that the both the 96 vette and caprice use the LT1 (I think 96 was the last year for the LT1). In that case, yes.
LT1
330 ft/lbs
260
Most had the LT1 350 V8, although if it was strictly a city cruiser, the standard 4.3L V8 could also be had
