In my experience....possibly.
The bed bugs in my current and previous apartments have bitten me many times a night on a regular basis. However, my girlfriend has never been bitten in our current apartment, and only a handful of times in our last. I can't say whether my location was more convenient, or if I was just more tasty to them. Then again, perhaps my girlfriends skin just doesn't react to the bites as much as mine.
Not a solid answer, but it's something.
Um, no.. depends on how many you have... if you have more than probably 4.. then no.. they will bite in as many places they can on a person.. once you wake up and get out if whever you are and you have someone sleeping on the same place as you they will go to that person if they are late sleepers.. if you have bed bugs in your couch or bed.. sleep on the floor they wont go there they like to be in a closed in got place where they can hide during the day.
Bed bugs are parasites that feed on the blood of people and certain animals, and they require these blood meals to grow and reproduce.
Bedbugs don't only bite in the bed. Mice, rats, poultry and other birds are also attacked.
Because, some people are just simply... More tasty, I guess! Usually blood type O gets bitten a little more than the other blood types but sometimes, blood has nothing to do with it. Sometimes you may just need to hange your sheets. There are pounds of dead skin cells in your bed... Which is what they feed on. Be sure to check every month or so and change sheets on average. A lot of times thy enjoy blood type O. I hope that helps even the tiniest shred!
While bed bugs can bite only one person, it is not likely. However, it is very common for only one person to have a reaction to the bites. When bed bugs bite they inject your body with a chemical that numbs the area. The people who suffer from itching, redness and welts are allergic to this chemical. As with all Allergies, not all individuals are allergic.
Yes they do, it is necessary for them to bite in order to feed.

No. Because there are no such things as bed bugs unless they are referred to as lice, or you put bugs in the bed that bite.
Bed bugs do not bit through sheets. But there are bed bugs that bite animals and people for their blood, like ticks and fleas. Ticks look like cockroaches but smaller and fleas are really little and they jump really high.
no they bite you in your bed

Bed bugs don't discriminate over your health, just so long as you're alive and warm-blooded.

No, bed bug bites are not contagious and bed bugs are not known to transmit any diseases to people. However bed bugs themselves can be transmitted from one person's clothes to another's bed and then bite that person.
