Does anyone agree on everything? What do you expect of politicians then?
In a direct democracy, every single group member has an equal say and votes on every issue. It is impractical for large groups, like countries, because it would be very difficult, if not impossible, for each member to vote on every issue. Countries usually have representative democracies in which the citizens elect representatives who vote on the issues, ideally with the best interests of the citizens in mind.
No a sweep and not a landslide, but the Democratic held a solid majority on every issue.
Direct- everyone votes on every measure. A republic- we elect people to represent us. THEY vote on every issue.
The issue on which Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler did not agree on was property ownership
they didnt agree on anything.

A republic is a representative democracy, where the people elect representatives to make laws for them. All republics are democracies, and the phrase democratic republic is therefore redundant. Not all democracies are republics, however. A direct democracy, in which the people vote directly on all laws, is not a republic. Direct democracies rarely exist in practice, however, because of the logistic problems with getting everyone to vote on every issue.
The issue is slavery.
