As far as I know, dog hair and dog fur are the same thing, but coarser hair tends to be called hair and softer hair tends to be called fur. I don't think there's any official classification. Fleas are attracted to anything that they can sense warm blood in.

∙ 15y agoShih Tzu Many dogs shed seasonally. Its the Shih Tzu, Most northern breeds have a double coat to keep them warm. The layer closest to the skin is called the under coat. They will typically "blow" this coat twice a year and grow a new layer.
