I once had the nape of my neck pierced. I was told to not touch it but once a week to clean it. I exercised, and just rinsed it with water, and did not touch it. if it is infected, I would suggest to rub tea tree oil on it after cleaning it once a week, and just LEAVE IT ALONE. You can always call the person that pierced it and ask them questions....
I dont think they heal at all, because the tongue is a muscle.
it is alright, you just have to make sure that it won't get infected.
Well it sounds like the piercings are not fully healed and the discharge you are getting (whitish/yellow) is lymphatic matter that the body generates as it tries to heal the piercings( this discharge is normal in all new piercings under a year old ). I would suggest you put in good quality jewellery in your piercings and leave them alone except for cleaning in the shower other than that let them heal up.
Yes, they do- however, it depends alot on the gauge of the needle and how capable your body is able to heal (which factors on age, diet, and health). The fresher the piercing, the less time it takes to heal shut- but it is more prone to infection. Smaller piercings do have a tendency to heal quicker, but it mostly depends on the area of skin that is pierced. Fleshy skin located close to blood vessles heal very quickly when hard cartilage and sparser areas of blood vessles take much longer. Note: ALL piercings should be done with a hollow needle.
Yes. All of my ear piercings crusted. Make sure you clean them well and after then heal they will stop getting crusty.
In my experience, it all depends on how long you've had your piercings. If it's less then a year or so more than likely they will close up.
it's actually illegal to numb anything from the neck up for piercings, but they may spray something on the local area, that kind of numbs the area of skin slightly, they used this for all of my piercings, but I'm not sure what exactly it is.
Not long at all, piercings don't heal in a month especially the navel piercing, it takes from 3 to 6 months for a good light heal, but is far from healed and seasoned to handle having the jewellery out for long.
Well that all depends on your level of personal hygene. Bathing and cleaning the piercings daily with soap and running water will help avoid infections. Failure to clean the piercings will result in a build up of skin oil and bacteria which can develope into a difficult to fight infection.
Yes but then all piercings hurt to some extent, you cut or pierce skin it hurts. But if you want the piercing done it's just something you deal with.
Yes. All piercings hurt to some degree
It all depends on the break. I broke my neck about a year ago and it took time and alot of the P.T. Its hard but you will get there i still have some pain and stiffness. but i can still move and walk and talk so even the littlest pain is worth my life. hang in there it will get better
