There are many different types of saxophones. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON INSTRUMENTS FROM WALMART, ZELLERS OR PLACES SIMILAR. They have very low quality and music stores will not repair them. Yamaha makes nice student models and selmer is one of the premiums.
yes
Pretty much, however, there are quite a few of these saxophones out there that are sized differently to suite the player (saxophonist). This pretty much applies to all saxophones, appart from designer instruments and the alto saxophone which is now built in a large range of sizes. Any other questions? AndyQaurtare@hotmail.com
In the 1840's Adolphe Sax invented the saxophone family. In today's concert band, saxophones play harmonies and blend with other band instruments. Saxophones are also very popular jazz and solo instruments. The saxophone family includes the Bb Soprano, Eb Alto (the most common), Bb Tenor, Eb Baritone and Bb Bass Saxophone. Fingerings are virtually the same on all saxophones, making it possible to play any saxophone. John Philip Souse wrote for saxophones in his band compositions. Bizet, Ravel, Debussy and Prokofiev included saxophones in their orchestral writing. Duke Ellington's jazz arrangements greatly defined the unique sound of the instruments, both in solo and ensemble playing. Some famous saxophone performers are Eugene Rousseau, Sigurd Rascher and Davide Sanborn.
Flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, bass drum, viola, trombone, didgeridoo, trumpet, banjo, harmonica...
They'll be the same as the lyrics for any other version.
Can you clarify the question? Is this a report for a class project? What level? Are you interested in the manufacture of saxophones, or in the musical literature for saxophones, or in famous people who play the saxophone? Is there a reason it needs to be the baritone saxophone, rather than any other size saxophone?I hope that by asking these questions I've given you some ideas of what to look for when you do research for your report.
I only think it was MARY. I am not sure of any other names.
