the angelfish might have killed them for territory.
Angelfish are Pterophyllum sp. The "Koi" bit is just a bit of 'spin'. All it means is the fish has a couple of colours. It is still an ordinary Angelfish in all but the 'spin'. Provided they are well grown and properly looked after, they will start spawning regularly from the age of about 12 months. If the ova are removed, the fish will spawn again in a couple of days and again for about 3 or 4 spawnings and then recouperate for a about a month before coming back into breeding condition and starting to spawn again. Angelfish and Discus can be and are sometimes bred to death and only last a year or so in the hands of unscrupulous breeders.
Community fish. In other words, fish that get along with others and are not agressive. If you go to the Pet Store and ask they will surely help you out.
No a betta fish is not a social animal and can kill any fish within seconds but sometimes if placed beside each other for A month or week (depends) in separate tanks they might become friendly.
No they do not they hatch about a week-maybve a month sometimes I have frogs and scoop some into a bowl and record how long it takes
It Depends On The Species Of Frog. Become More Specific and I will answer it.
In temperate areas where their are seasonal changes, frogs will lay their eggs in the spring.
Frogs breed and lay their eggs during spring and summer months.
It takes approximatly one month for tadpoles to turn into adult frogs.
There are 6,298 species of frogs (at the date: June 15th, 2013). Every month a couple of new species are discovered, so the number will rise. In 2013 alone, 63 new species are acknowledged.
Frogs live for about 10 years in the wild.
I have a terrarium with two red eared sliders, and 2 fire bellied toads along with many fish and other aquatic animals. I was wondering the same question. I have had mine living in a 100 gallon tank with my turtles for about a month now and they seem to get along. In fact, today the frogs were hanging onto the shell of my turtle enjoying a nice little ride. As far as I can tell, as long as there is plenty of food in your tank for the turtles to eat and not think of your frogs as prey they should be fine, but like I said I'm not sure.
