Some believe their yips and barks and meows and howls each are a language of their own. No bark is exactly alike, as uniqe as human voices. As far as anyone can tell, yes, it is their own little language.

Animals communicate by various means; smells, sounds etc. As for language... well, how would we know? I don't understand what Dogs want when they bark in the same way that I don't understand people talking Spanish (because I don't speak spanish). If all Dogs understand what 'Woof!' means and can tell the difference between 'Woof!' and 'Ruff!' etc. then yes that would be a very basic language/communication system

not to us, but, they do bond and make sounds. oxes "roller skate" when they finish, they bellow and (supposably) call to the others that they are finished. When they do so, they go to the back of a "line" and wait for everybody else to go before they go again. Otters create slides and signal to others when they are done. Skunks make different squeaks. We must wait until we have more modern technology to truly figure this out.

Five differences between human and animal language?

Human language is structured and governed by complex grammar rules, while animal communication tends to be more instinctual and limited in scope. Humans can express abstract concepts and emotions through language, whereas animal communications are largely focused on basic needs and survival. Human language has a high degree of flexibility and creativity, allowing for infinite combinations of words and meanings, whereas animal communication is more fixed and limited. Humans have the ability to use symbolic language with words and writing, while animal communication often relies on sounds, gestures, and body language. Language in humans is constantly evolving and adapting over time, whereas animal communication systems tend to remain relatively unchanged within a species.
