It depends on what type of animal it is. If it is nocturnal it will love the dark. An example for a nocturnal animal is an owl. It sleeps during the day and hunts and stays up during the night. That is how nocturnal animals are described. But if you compare a cat with an owl in this situation, an owl likes the dark more than the cat. =)
Its not really like cats like the dark. Cats are animals that hunt in the night, so they will prefer being outside while dark.
Some animals can see in the dark with their big eyes.
Owls, wolf, bat, cats and dogs. ___________________________ Like the first person wrote many animals have a greater ability to see in the dark, than man. Often we find animals with the greatest ability to see in the dark are animals with larger eyes, such as the owls; animals with smaller eyes are normally better at seeing in the day time.
Some animals uses their big eyes to see better in the dark.
Some animals are, like rabbits, sometimes they are scared of Owls coming to eat them in the night. Honestly, we may never know what types of animals are afriad of the dark.
nocturnal animals
It is generally cooler at night and easier to avoid predators after dark.
because they think nobody is going to be around to get them like us but its not dark and this morning we got them OK!
In the dark.
Bats
Because in dark our eyes can catch....
Ever. Human eyes are not built to see in the dark. We don't have that special layer in the back of our eyes to reflect light onto our retinas, like nocturnal animals do. The only way people can "see" in the dark is by using special equipment like night-vision goggles.
