No, antioxidants are supposed to either repair or prevent (I can't remember which) things in your body called free-radicals, which allegedly cause cancer. Antioxidants stop these, and in turn, the idea is that your body will work better. Antioxidants have nothing to do with weight (as far as we know).

Actually, antioxidants do help to lose weight. Our body is exposed to toxins from everything around us. From the air we breath, the clothes we wear, the chemicals we use to do laundry, personal care and home care. Our liver and kidneys process and try to remove all of those toxins. The toxins that are left behind are stored in our fat cells (may enlarge them). It is important to take in as many organic Anti-oxidants as possible to help flush our system and our fat cells (may shrink them).
