There are a few types of bug that can live on a dog. However, the most common bug is known as a flea. Fleas will feed off a dog's blood for a long period of time and produce eggs. Ticks are another common bug which can live on a dog and are much more dangerous than fleas.

One is the tick. The tick will bury it's head into the skin of a dog and humans and work it's way in. It's important to take your dog into the vets to be sure it is a tick.
