No, genetic research has shown that Ashkenazi Jews have had minimal genetic input from Europeans and are virtually identical to Middle Eastern Jews and other semitic groups.
An Arab is anyone from an Arab (Middle Eastern) country or has any Middle Eastern blood in them. Egyptians, Palestinians, Iraqis, Saudi Arabians, Kuwaitis, and many more. An exception though is Lebanon. Many Lebanese consider themselves Arabs, but the majority do not.
No, not all Reform and Conservative Jews are Ashkenazi. Both movements include Jews from various backgrounds, including Ashkenazi (Eastern European), Sephardic (Spanish and Portuguese), Mizrahi (Middle Eastern and North African), and other regional backgrounds. They encompass a diverse range of Jewish traditions and customs.
not at all. i consider it a middle eastern cigar or cigarette without nicotine.
go to us census and you will see that there are techinically many who consider themselves "white" but do not look "white" like under the white race= mexicans, middle eastern etc...
Ashkenazi Jews are an ethnic group comprised of Jews who went to Europe after the expulsion. Ashkenaz was the word for Germany in the Middle Ages, but it generally applies to Jews with a European ancestry.
Ashkenazim are Jews of Central and Eastern Europe who speak Yiddish (Judeo-German with Hebrew, Aramaic, and Slavic influences) and follow the Jewish religion (a monotheistic religion based on the Mosaic tradition and Rabbinical commentary as described in the Torah and Talmud). They claim to be (partially at least) descended from the Ancient Israelites of the Middle East, and generally only marry other Jews and are separate from their host populations (i.e. if an Ashkenazi Jew lives in Poland, he will not be that involved in non-Jewish Polish soceity) Non-Ashkenazi is a broad term really. I do not know if you mean Jews of other places (e.g. Sephardi Jews of Spain, Turkey and North Africa, Mizrahi Jews of the Middle East, Yemenite Jews, etc.) or non-Jewish central and Eastern Europeans.
Turkey is (Azerbaijan and Georgia are as well but they are just north of the area known as the Middle East, and are not considered a part of the Middle East themselves).
The vast majority of Middle Easterners today consider themselves Arabs. However, originally, the Arabs were the tribes in Arabia.
Certainly he is middle eastern, he lived in in the holy land Palestine so he is Palestinian Middle eastern. also all the other Prophets are Middle eastern too
No Pakistan is not middle eastern it is in South Asia. just because it is mainly a Muslim country does not make it middle eastern. Bangladesh and Indonesia are Muslim countries too and they are NEVER said to be middle eastern. Just because Pakistan has problems with terrorist does not make it middle eastern either. Pakistan used to be part of the Indian empire so was Bangladesh and so how could Pakistan be middle eastern if it used to be part of the Indian empire? it has Indian races too not middle eastern so that makes it obvious Pakistan is NOT Middle Eastern. Also, the Middle East is part of Asia. This is like asking "Is France a European country or a Nordic country". (Nordic means Northern European)
