Yes, Panama has avocado's, many different types were planted back early in the canal building and landscape days, as were different types of mangoes. I can tell you panama has some of the best. The best I ever had were from an old termite tree in Gamboa, the tree was on a side of a hill, they would turn yellow on the tree and the flavor was out of this world.
