Um snapping turtles are mature when their 11 or 12 years old
i think it would grow with the turtle and then when it is an adult the shell would be fully grown
2 pounds when fully grown
Though many pet stores claim to have 'miniature turtles' while there is really no such thing. Most of the so called 'miniature' turtles are in fact baby sliders or cooters. Both of which can get to 10+ inches when fully grown. Sliders average size are: males- 7-9in; females- 8-12. And cooter females can get up to 16in. A good site to look at for care and other information on different turtle species and there captive care is Austins Turtle Page.
Box turtles range in size from 4-6 inches fully grown. That makes a huge difference in their weight. The average weight of a wild male is 332-350 grams and females is 435-450. However seasonally box turtles loose weight. during hibernation a box turtle can loose 1/4 of its mass.
they get big as a big ball
Maybe its at its fully grown size.
