If you get a Bearded dragon lizard it requires a lot of different lamps and every day you must take it out of the cage and spend time with it ,wich they sort of just lay on you, or it will become very very mean and uncontrollable The answer to the actual question is they are much happier together
If raised alone, they remain happy alone. If raised in a pair or group, they may initially appear to miss each other if separated but recover and go on to live happily alone.
The best mix for those not intending to breed is a couple or trio of females. Males housed together can become aggressive towards each other. Males can tend to harass females if housed as a pair and many breeders only house a pair together only to mate.
A male and female housed together WILL mate and whether you go on to artificially incubate the eggs, then raise the young, or not, this process (through to birth and beyond) can cause much stress to the female and depletion of nutrients and weight, which she will then need to recover every time.
As most other animals, bearded dragons can get depressed or sad. So the answer is yes.
No one's sure, but people recommend that you have two, either two females or a female and male as two males will fight over territory.
The males certainly are. I know from experience that putting two males together in the same vivarium will usually result in fighting for dominance.
Yes. You don't put 2 in the same tank

There is no standard collective noun for bearded dragons.Because bearded dragons do like to sun themselves:the collective noun for lizards will work: a lounge of bearded dragons; a lounge of bearded dragonsthe collective noun for crocodiles will work: a bask of bearded dragons; a bask of bearded dragons
the bearded part is because they have a beard(made of scales), and the dragon part is because they look like dragons.
