At one time it was believed that there were "timelike" paths through a black hole, but the problem is that all such paths necessarily intersect the singularity.

In other words: if you try to use a black hole to "pass through time", the only thing you're going to pass is away.

Could a black hole pass through the earth like a needle?

No. A black hole would utterly destroy Earth by the time it passed within a few thousand light years.

How is time changed in a black hole?

Mainly the following: As you approach the event horizon, time seems to pass normal - for you, and you will soon pass through the event horizon. For an outside observer, your time will be slower and slower, so you will never really reach the event horizon.

Why does time slow down near a black hole?

Time slows down near a black hole due to the intense gravitational pull it exerts. This gravitational force warps spacetime, causing time to pass more slowly for an observer near the black hole compared to someone farther away.

Why is the black hole unique?

The black hole is unique because it is the only force in the unniverse to rip space time and break through the theory of relativity

Could someone put a satellite through a black hole?

They could... theoretically, at least, but it would be a waste of time and money. For one, the nearest black hole is 1600 light years away, and there is no technology that would allow us to get the satellite to the black hole within a reasonable time frame. Secondly, by putting a satellite through a black hole, you would only be destroying it.

Can energy escape thorght a black hole?

Yes, energy can escape from a black hole through Hawking radiation, which is a process where black holes emit radiation and lose mass over time. However, the escape of energy through Hawking radiation is very slow and weak in comparison to the massive gravitational pull of the black hole.

What if dark Matter is Time It Does not escape a black hole?

If all thing things pass through a worm hole. We have dark matter all over. How can it not past through a singletary. If you take all that we know about time. We always had a missing pieces. Ok, no more bull I believe that Dark Matter is Time . Matter flows into the center of a black hole and we know that nothing can escape. But we have too know that Dark Matter has too also have to go through the black hole. What if we look at Black Matter as a part /or time it self. We can't say that we know what Dark Matter is. We can't say what Time is. What if they were both the same. We know that they can not be Separated. I believe one day that it's from a Black Hole that we will see the Time distortion between Dark Matter and a Gravity Well. Remember Dark Matter is Matter. We can't see it right now. Just like Time. But who's to say there not the same.

Is there time in a black hole?

yes. but the intense gravity is so strong it seems to bend time so slowly some people believe that there is no time in a black hole I WOULD JUST LIKE TO POINT OUT that time does exist in a black hole it is just extremely slow on another note if time did not exist in a black hole then a black hole would not suck things into it. so time does exist in a black hole.

Can a black hole collapse on itself, leading to its own destruction?

Yes, a black hole can collapse on itself, leading to its own destruction. This process is known as black hole evaporation, where a black hole loses mass over time through a quantum mechanical process called Hawking radiation.

Is there such things as time travel?

This is possible because have you heard of a black hole are ever seen one on tv? well this black hole folds up time because it goes so quick and it has to wriggleing lines andif you went through them you could travel through time.

How do black holes distort time?

Black holes distort time by creating a strong gravitational pull that slows down time near them. This effect, known as time dilation, occurs because the intense gravity of a black hole warps the fabric of spacetime, causing time to pass more slowly for an observer close to the black hole compared to someone farther away.

What happens to time inside a black hole?

Inside a black hole, time behaves differently than outside. Time slows down as you get closer to the center of a black hole, eventually stopping completely at the singularity. This means that time inside a black hole is essentially frozen.
