Buddhists do not think that animals and humans are equal. They do believe that animals and humans are sentient to the point that causing them unnecessary suffering for your benefit is incorrect.

No! The Buddha even said "The mind is everything. What you think you become."
humanists think that humans are before everything else. this includes animals
What do you think will happen to animals and humans if the amount of oxygen in the air is reduced?
i think they effect it by killing other animals.
Certainly all Buddhists do not believe this. There may be some Japanese Buddhists who think this.
We do not know. Humans are animals (we like to think of ourselves as 'higher animals').... but we don't know whether other animals have a spirit or 'emotional being'.
Well yeah I think so for I think humans do and humans are a,so considered animals.
i think it the same way as humans
I dont think so... Do humans like their butt? And humans ARE animals right?
i think 70 animals
I think it is bad because they might be extinct from humans because humans use coloured fur from animals to make carpets :)
I think animals are just as important as humans because they need the things as we need. Shelter, food, water, and some to love.
