They do get poorer fuel mileage with E10 so that in itself means the E10 produces more pollution because you use more fuel.
Cars and Factories.
Idklol
Should be now. Last i looked cars over 25 years old are exempt. Wrong own a 1977 and just had to smog it. 1975 and before are smog exempt

It's pretty safe to assume all pre-1975 cars are smog exempt.
mostly... its the smog laws. You can beef up the motors in a pre smog car all the way up to 1974. Also, the older cars are steel and metal, they were built stronger and a better quality. The newer cars fall under smog laws, these you can not beef up. they are also built more with fiberglass material, to collapse on impact to take up the shock, instead the driver and the passengers. Most new cars come equipt with safety features such as air bags and seat belts. Whereas the older cars do not.

to reduce smog emmisions, maybe drive less in cars and use public transport or ride a bike
coal
on new cars 1996 and newer you could use 02 foolers or find and friend in the smog check biz...now the bad if your car is 1995 or older the have to do what they call a sniffer the put this tube in your tail pipe and it meters the smog coming out the only way to pass that is to put your smog parts back on for the test or find some one that wants a few extra $$ and presto the can pass the car.on a side not i do not stand behind the GOV on smog equipment the cars would run so much better with out it and mpg would go up
cars are dying because of fuel emissions coming out from their exhaust pipe creating a smog. Smog is a cross between smoke and fog. Because of this more and more gas guzzling 4x4's and many other cars, vans and vehicles Who told you cars are dying? Nothing could be farther from the truth. Without cars, & trucks our economy would collapse. The internal combustion engine in it's present form, is on it's way out, but the automobile is here to stay.
