Yes, it is actually the norm.
there are many differances in cars from the 60's and the cars of today. One big difference is that the cars of the 60's where all carburated, meaning they had a carburetor. Now nearly all cars have some type of EFI or electronic fuel injection. Also, in the 60's most all of the engine components were run mechanically. Today, more and more components of a vehicles engine rely on some type of computer or electronic system to operate, making them more efficient, but harder to service and more expensive!!!!
Old cars have the carburettor. Modern cars now have electronic fuel injection system
Quick and simple, FUEL INJECTION
You forgot to add: NASCAR race cars also have carbs. Fuel injection systems simply do not have the power or top speed. Most of the "muscle cars" from the 70's (and other cars), all had Carbs back then.
No. With electronic fuel injection on today's cars, the fuel system gets fully charged when you turn the ignition key to the on position. This is true whether you are starting a car parked overnight or one that has been run recently.
electronic carburetor injection - v type engine on 6 cylinders.
American autos in the 80s were changing over from carburetors to electronic fuel injection and computers.
All modern gas cars ( electronic fuel injection) have the fuel pump in the gastank
Renault still manufacture cars today. They manufactures many different cars such as Buick, Chrysler and there are some other dealership that they manufacture.
There is the CARburetor, which mixes the air and gas to the right ratio in some cars. the carburetors have largely been replaced with Electronic Fuel Injection for modern cars.
Electronic car.
