Of course not. Catholics consider Muslims unbelievers. All religious believers will consider themselves as true believers. However, Muslims don't consider Catholics, or Christians in general, unbelievers. Muslims consider Christians (as Jews) people of the book because Musilms believe in the holy books of The Bible and the Torah.
True believers will get whatever they truly believe they will get. Just wait and see.
Catholics are wrongly accused on a regular basis that they worship Mary. Catholics are always quick to say that this is not true. Protestants see the high honor that Catholics give Mary as idolatry. Catholics are not worshiping Mary by honoring her. They are just following Jesus' example are honoring his mother. No Catholic can give more honor to Mary than what Jesus gave to her.
Possibly, possibly not. Santa can only be seen by the true believers, and can only be heard by the true believers. It is very rare when a kid gets to see Santa, or even hear him, but there is a strong possibility that your kids won't see Santa.
Catholics believe that Mary, the mother of Jesus, holds a special place in their faith. They see her as a model of faith and obedience, and believe that she plays a significant role in interceding for believers. Catholics also honor Mary as the Mother of God and the Queen of Heaven.
Pope Benedict XVI said that Catholics and Muslims worship the same God. This is in keeping with Vatican II, and with the sacred writings of both religions. They both begin with Abraham following the instructions of his God. Please see the Related Link below.
Actually there are more similarities among catholics and Muslims that one could think of. I would like to point out some: 1. Allah (God) Most people think Allah is a completely different God from the one that catholics believe in. But it is the same God, just the name "Allah" is the Arabic word for "God" in English as it is "Dios" in spanish. 2. Jesus and the Virgin Mary Muslims do believe in Jesus and in the Virgin Mary, the only difference is that for Muslims Jesus is not Gods son (God cannot be related with any human), he is a prophet. 3. Makkah and The Holy See These are places where most of the members of these two religions attend with spiritual means. I could mention many more, but to finish there is one, probably the most important one: We Muslims believe in One God as the catholics do.
This entirely depends on the region in question. For places under Muslim control or for places with a Muslim minority or that deal with Islamic countries or Muslims, see the Related Questions below. _________________________________________________________ It affected positively their lives. Prince Vladimir sent representatives to the Jews, Muslims and Catholics to see if their religions were the one true religion. When his representatives went to Byzantium (Constantinople) they were overwhelmed by its beauty. It is said they did not know whether they were in heaven or on earth. Based on this, Prince Vladimir chose the Eastern Orthodox religion for his subjects and had them baptized into it.
Traditional Jews, Christians, Muslims and perhaps some others too. See also:Is there evidence for Creation? Can you show that God exists?Seeing God's wisdom
No. Episcopalians are not in union with The Holy See in Rome and so are not Catholic. Catholics do recognize episcopalians as "Christian".
They aren't. It's a very common myth, spread by both religions, that "thousands" (or in some versions, "millions") of members of one religion are leaving and embracing the other religion. But statistics show that while both Christianity and Islam do a lot of missionary work, neither religion is attracting large numbers from the other. Sometimes, Christians or Muslims will spread this story because they sincerely believe their religion is the true one, and they think members of the other faith ought to convert. And sometimes, this story is spread after a few people convert from one religion to the other-- believers see this as a wonderful sign and then exaggerate the number to make it seem that their faith is winning the battle for converts. It is certainly true that some Christians have become Muslims. It is also true that some Muslims have become Christians. But it is not true that "thousands of Bible scholars" have embraced Islam.
