Regardless if some cats like the taste of beer, alcohol should never be given to a cat. Giving a cat alcohol repeatedly (or a lot of) will cause liver damage, breathing difficulties, coma and even death.

∙ 12y agoThey will get drunk. Many animals in the wild have been known to get drunk of fermenting fruit on trees. But no matter how funny it may be, NEVER FEED YOUR CAT BEER. Cats are generally much smaller than humans, so they will react much worse than you or me would. The same idea applies to a 70 lb human vs a 180 lb human. The 70 lb human would react much worse than the 180 pounder. 1 bottle of Budweiser would be 5 to a cat. Also, cats are deathly "allergic" to anything with grapes in it, AKA wine. So if you worry for your cats health, DONT FEED IT BEER!
