My Chickens and Roosters and my two cats all get along really well together. If the chickens don't want the cats around they chase them out of the pen, other than that they they all get around together.

Can seven chickens and two cats have a total of twenty two legs and how many other combinations of them can yield twenty two legs?

Yes. Seven chickens have 14 legs (7 x 2 = 14) and two cats have 8 legs (2 x 4 = 8). (All animals are "normal" here.) That's 22 legs (14 + 8 = 22). Other combinations include: 11 chickens, 0 cats 9 chickens, 1 cat 7 chickens, 2 cats 5 chickens, 3 cats 3 chickens, 4 cats 1 chicken, 5 cats
