They usually don't really care about each other. They are not going to fight, but they won't do as a companion for each other. So you should not keep only one guinea pig and one chinchilla together. Also, they need different kinds of cages.
No. They will attack each other and your chinchilla will kill the gerbil. They are different species
Pets at Home does sell chinchillas along with hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs.
Yes, but not together. Chinchillas require very different environments to guinea pigs.
It is personal choice.
Some dogs can get along with guinea pigs. Mine however would eat our guinea pigs if they got the chance.....
NO. Do not put these two animals together. Chinchillas should be kept with other chinchillas and guinea pigs can go with rabbits under supervision.
I think. I have two female guinea pigs and they get along fine.
No, guinea pigs are not really pigs... they are rodents.Tsk tsk to the answer above!Guinea pigs are not considered rodents, either! They are really in their own little category ;]Some say they are closest related to chinchillas! How cute!No they're not really pigs, they ARE part of the rodent familyand so are Chinchillas!
Every guinea pig has their own personality, it is impossible to tell which guinea pigs they'll get along with and not get along with.
no
no.
no, guinea pigs could hurt the gerbils by accident (big size difference!)
Usually the case with four guinea pigs is that the oldest guinea pig will eat all the others. Beware.
