Are ATP and CO2 used only in the chloroplasts to make carbohydrates?

CO2 is only used in the chloroplast to synthesize carbohydrates. ATP, on the other hand, is used for several other reactions other than carbohydrate synthesis.

What happens if the hydrogen pumps in photosystems 1 and 2 are not working correctly?

The chloroplast will not produce ATP or NADPH.

What happens to the extra energy in excited electrons as they pass along an electron trandsport chain in a chloroplast?

The energy is used to supply electron carriers and to pump protons into the stroma so they can come down their concentration gradient through an ATP-synthase and synthesize ATP.

What is chloroplast and mitochondria?

Chloroplast is known as the kitchen of cell not Mitochondria. Chloroplast have a pigment called chlorophyll and they are involved in the photosynthesis of food that's why known as kitchen of cell. Mitochondria is known as power house of cell. They use carbohydrates and fats present in the cell to CO2 and water vapour. Oxidation releases energy, a portion of which is used to form ATP. Since the mitochondria synthesize, energy-rich compounds (ATP), they are known as 'power house ' of cell.

What happens when you inject the muscle with artificial ATP?

I don't believe we synthesize artificial atp.

Do mitochondria synthesize hemoglobin?

No of course they do not. They are ATP generators

What part of the chloroplast create ATP?

The thylakoids.

How do cells replace the energy-rich ATP that is destroyed in energy-coupled reactions?

Both chloroplasts use light energy to synthesize ATP and mitochondria synthesize ATP using energy that's realeased by oxidizing sugars and fats.

What is the fuctionof chloroplast?

Photosynthesis is carried out. Also synthesize some proteins and photorespire.

Organelle that generates atp?

In plant cells, the chloroplast generates the atp. In animal cells, the mitochondria generates the atp.

What cell has orgenelles to provide ATP?

chloroplast and mitochondria

What is the functon of chloroplast?

Chloroplast are only in plant cells, they use photosynthesis to make ATP which is energy for the cell.
