Scientists believe that a tidal wave will hit porthtowan at some point. After months of reseach scientists have dicovered that it will happen at approxemetly the 23rd of September 2009. I just get the feeling that the above answer is tongue-in-cheek! If it isn't, then who has suddenly got incredible precision in forecasting earthquakes?
This is a way of letting other scientists know about the different research projects that have been going on. Also other scientists can review the published results.
Scientists now believe that at the center of almost all galaxies is a super massive black hole. There may be a little merit to the analogy, but what's going on near the black hole is completely unlike any imaginable storm.
Scientists have two motives for gaining new knowledge. First, science is motivated by curiosity. Scientists are very interested in understanding the world better. Second, scientific knowledge has proved to have many practical applications, and our experience has been that new knowledge is going to come in handy in various ways that are often difficult to predict.
If they want to, yes.
I don't think scientists have proof and I don't think scientists believe the world will end in 2012. 2012 if the end of the Mayan 5000 year calander.
Probably not. Some scientists believe that but the ones that do are stupid. The mayan calendar supposedly stops there but i just believe they ran out of room :)
A:Presumably the fact of being a Christian means that gay Christians probably believe in the possibility of going to heaven.
I don't know about the entire world but some scientists believe that we are.
No you will not go to hell. Going to hell depends on if you are a Christian or not, and if you are a Christian you probably will not even believe in fortune-telling.But on the other hand:If your fortune-teller says: "You are going to hell," you may have to go there.
No it will not... No one knows at all , and do not believe scientists that say so because it is not going to happen... Maybe before maybe after... No one knows
Iatrophobia: The fear of going to the doctors

Scientists believe that to be the case with the moon orbiting Neptune since it is not going in the expected direction.
I believe so, he has talked about going to church and his dad has a song called "Thank You Jah" which is a song about thanking God for all of the good things in your life, so I believe Cameron is a Christian, I hope so...I'm going to find out for sure though. ps.
