Yes, I think they are. If your a non geek then it's even easier. Apple has a minimalistic OS, as it were. The Mac OS was made to be easy to work with and find stuff on. Altough Windows 7 and above are moving in that direction. One thing Windows has going for it (for geeks anyway) I think is you can do more fiddling and trimming the OS then you can with the Mac.
