Not at all, but they are slightly annoying at first
If you share contact lenses, what happens will depend on the amount of time the first person wore the contacts, if the contacts were only on the persons eyes for a few seconds or a minute then if you clean them there will be no problem, if the contacts were on for hours then the next different person that where's them their eyes will start to burn, water, and they will probably get an eye infection.
Yes, mono vision contacts are worth the time it takes to get used to them if you are tired of wearing glasses. These lenses are perfect for swimming and snorkeling as well.
Yes they can, it just also changes your eye color.
Short answer, no. Long answer, kinda? When you first get them, it takes time to get accustom to wearing them. During that time, your eyes will encounter some irritation, but not pain. The temporary irritation is well worth the benefits.
I have always used longer lasting lenses, for a month for example. Monthly subscriptions or 2 week ones are a bit cheaper than the daily contacts. It also depends on the brand. But most of the time, daily contacts are a bit more expensive. I have switched to daily contacts though, because I need a fresh new pair everyday, it's worth the money for me. Since I wear makeup, makeup would get into my eyes and ruin my contacts, thats why I need daily contacts. Also, people like construction workers would probably prefer daily contacts lenses as well, due to the environment they work in.
AcuVue makes a great hard contact lense and so does Focus Dailies Contacts.
When I wear lashes with my contacts I find my eyes get tired and bloodshot after a few hours.
i would say wear your contacts f you have them because glasses can be uncomfortable if you have other glasses on top. i went to 3d movie last week and i wore my contacts, but the glasss seemed to big so i had to hold them up the entire time. ..your choice!
Because they have a hard time adjusting because if you wear your contacts more than don't and u take them out one day it will be more blurry for about 30mins so it can adjust and it might hurt
No. I can usually put mine in after sleeping a short time. I can't see how it would hurt.
I have never heard of any contacts of any type slowing down nearsightedness (myopia). RGP lenses unlike soft-lenses, take some getting used to as they are more rigid, but once they are gotten used to they do offer some advantages over soft lens contacts. Having been a very nearsighted teen at one time, I would highly recommend contacts as teens tend to make inappropriate comments to other teens with extremely thick lenses in their glasses. Contacts in almost all cases are used for cosmetic, not medical reasons.
no not at all just like glasses but with like a 5% more health risk. As long as you follow the instructions and be patient when getting used to putting them in and out you wil be fine. THEY DO NOT HURT! no matter what people say. It might feel weird for the first month but it don't hurt. They really change your life. just like simple things like rain feels amazing with contacts!
